Exodus group exhibition

The group exhibition EXODUS, based on the collection of stories from the Bible, Torah and Qur’an, is about oppression and liberation, about refugee flows worldwide, about slavery in the past and present, and about a long and uncertain journey towards a new life. The exhibition also shows that for many artists EXODUS is about the personal and inner journey. It is about the obstacles along the way, the rootlessness, hope and about taking root at your final destination.

In the exhibition EXODUS you will find works of art by Mario Sergio Alvarez, Fatima Barznge, Bernardo Beirão, Celine van den Boorn, Airco Caravan, Anook Cléonne, Monika Dahlberg, Sam Drukker, Loes Groothuis, Antonio Jose Guzman, Himmelsbach, Esther Hoogendijk, Marcha van den Hurk in combination with makers of the Pauluskerk Rotterdam, Wianda Keizer, Zhixin Liao, Szu-Han Lin, Jaasir Linger, Mehdi Mashayekhi, Joyce Overheul, Marieke Ploeg, Cecilia Rebergen, Sybren Renema, Thom van Rijckevorsel, AnneMarie van Splunter, Hanan Saif, Eva Spierenburg, Gurt Swanenberg, Roosje Verschoor and Alydia Wever.
